Gate Farm's Can't Touch This, HOF. aka (CT)
NOTE: We are in the process of moving to our big, beautiful, new ranch
in Temecula, CA. Because we have so much going on there
will be no outside breedings in 2015. Once construction is finished
on the house, shop, barn, paddocks, arenas and the water and electric
lines are in to the AI lab, the collecting and shipping of semen will resume.
At Tucalota Longears Company we are dedicated to producing beautiful performance type mules and donkeys with an emphasis on “quality” rather than “quantity”. Standing at Stud are our 2 Champion Spotted Jacks with proven show records for your consideration. To learn more about these top quality jacks just click on their link.
As a breeding incentive Tucalota Longears Company will be giving $500 to the first mule or donkey sired by our jacks to win a “World Champion” title and $250 to the first mule or donkey sired by our jacks to win a “Reserve World Champion” title at Mule Days in Bishop, CA. We will also award $100 to the first mule or donkey sired by our jacks to win a “Champion” title at The Great Donkey and Mule Celebration in Shelbyville, TN. We also pay $50 to each mule or donkey sired by our jacks who earns a Versatility Hall of Fame Award through the American Donkey and Mule Society.
I know some of this can be a little overwhelming for people who have never done AI before. If it helps most mares/jennets bred to our jacks have become pregnant during the first cycle in which they were bred. Also when comparing which way to go “ live cover” or “ AI” you need to be sure you are figuring in all of the costs associated with both to make it a fair comparison. Nowadays with a good Equine Reproduction vet they can actually save you money going “AI” over taking your mare/jennet for live cover. Going AI also gives you the opportunity to breed to superior jack and produce the foal of your dreams without sacrificing quality. You don’t have to use a jack simply because he was local and within driving distance. If you’re going to breed for that next super star mule or donkey you owe it to yourself to breed to the very best jack you can. So if you have any questions please feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail and I will do my best to help you.
Remember; don’t settle for ordinary when you can have extraordinary!
